Big 12 embraces the future with LED court for basketball tournaments
When members of the UCF men’s basketball team first stepped onto the ASB GlassFloor in Orlando last offseason, they said it took some getting used to.
"When I first got on it, it was kind of different," UCF sixth-year forward Devan Cambridge said. "But when we started practicing going up and down the court, it felt kind of the same."
The Big 12 Conference announced in a Feb. 11 press release that it will debut ASB GlassFloor’s full LED video court at the 2026 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments in Kansas City, Missouri, marking the first time the technology will be used for official competition in the United States.
